Mary Elaine Lambour, born on October 18, 1927 passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Ferdinand S. Lambour and Brunet Keeting Lambour. Mary is the aunt of Julie A. Marlett and her late siblings Marilyn L. Marlett, and Alan E. Marlett. Mary retired from the State Health Department where she worked with The Tuberculosis Program. She graduated from Sacred Heart of Jesus High School, Spencer’s Business College, Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, Louisiana State University and Peabody College in Tennessee with a B.S. in Public Health Nursing. Mary was active in her church parish, Our Lady of The Rosary and was a lover of cats. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, on Thursday May 25, 2017 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
