I gave him a couple of pots of my choice tomato plants, not knowing that he was a Tomato Farmer. He said to me, "You know, this is just like giving me bees." Nonetheless, he was gracious, and said, "I thank you."

Next meeting he said to me, "I ate a your grand kids today." Upon seeing my perplexed face, "Do you know what I'm saying?" I said, "No." Then he explained, "I had your tomatoes for lunch." :)

Rogers, a brother that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for his life and memories he left are still alive in your heart and mind, through you, they will live on. Rejoice in his departing for now he is in paradise with our Lord, Jesus Christ. May our Lord comfort you as you go through this trial. Brother in Christ, Jerome

Mr. Julian was the best mentor a Beekeeper could have. He was patient and he always had time to answer my questions. Rest in the arms of Jesus & Mary, Mr. Julian!

Julian was my favorite beekeeper and my mentor, much loved and will be missed by many. He was a joy to be around and a bright spot in every room.

I would always preface my questions at our meetings with " I'm new to beekeeping ". And he would say "what are you going to say next year?" Had me laughing at myself and my insecurities. He made me feel empowered. Will miss him very much.

Julian was a most amazing man and teacher. It has been a pleasure knowing and learning from him. I would not be as good a beekeeper nor would I find the joy in honeybees in the way I do if not for Julian. I will forever hear his voice (and sound advise!) in my head. Thank you for sharing him with us. God bless you and yours with Love, Shelly
