Julian Laine, Jr., born on February 29, 1940 in New Orleans, entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2017 at the age of 77.  Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Judith Moore Laine. Julian was preceded in death by his father Julian Laine, Sr. and mother Ellie Bordelon Laine.  Also survived by brothers: Barry (Gail) and Rogers (Berta); Children Sherry Laine Schiro (Angelo), Jay Laine, Chris Laine (Cynthia) and Ryan Laine.  Grandchildren: Ashley Schiro, Kristen Laine, Therese Schiro, Gabrielle Laine,  and Sarah Laine. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Prior to hurricane Katrina, Julian was the owner of Sheralane Dog-grooming Shop for 45 years in New Orleans East. Since retiring, Julian has served the St. Jane and St. Michael churches in St. Tammany Parish. He was also president and vice-president of both the Tangi-Tammington and River Region beekeeping clubs in Covington and Harahan.  Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday December 19 at 12:15 P.M. in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. Interment to follow in St. Louis #3 Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until Mass time
