Benny, Barbara & Bobby, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was such a sweet man that always has a "SONNY" smile on his face. There are so many wonderful memories of the time that the Dupuy and Mayeur families had together. I will always treasure those memories.

Mr. Dupuy epitomized being a gentleman. He was always one of the kindest and nicest men you could ever meet. I don't remember ever seeing Sonny without a smile that always made you feel like part of the family. My own children were taken with how he made them feel...it didn't matter if it was a year or two between visits he would always be welcoming like it was yesterday.
For Barbara and the entire Dupuy family this loss hurts now but this man's legacy will live on forever and will be passed along to all those grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sonny will be missed and always remembered by those who were lucky enough to spend time with him.

When I think of Paw Paw Sonny, I see the warm smile he always had whenever I saw him. It's as much of a feeling as it is a memory. Heaven gained an angel.

Uncle Sonny was truly one of the "Greatest Generation!" A wonderful, kind, energetic member of the Avalon and so typical of his age of New Orleanians!!! What a gentleman and a gentle man!!!
