Anita Thomas Wolff passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on February 16, 2018 at her home, surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born on March 5, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was predeceased by her parents, Edward Victor Thomas and Juanita Pauline Lightel, brother Edward Thomas Jr, and daughter Gayle C. Schneider. Anita is survived by her two children, Keith Michael Wolff (Janice) and Lorine Wolff Vujnovich (Frank), and nine grandchildren, Sean Harrigan (Desiree), Ryan Harrigan (Kimby), Timothy Vujnovich (Amelia), Jeremy Vujnovich (Katie), Alex Wolff, Julie Vujnovich, Evan Wolff, Sarah Wolff and Valerie Vujnovich. She also has eight great-grandchildren, Hudson, Colton, Abigail, Finley, Lennon, Aurora and Eva, and one expected to arrive in September 2018. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lucille Thomas, son-in-law Kim Schneider and lifelong friend Iris DiCrispino. Anita worked as a self-employed hair stylist for over 30 years, and enjoyed sewing, attending family parties, trips with friends to the casino and playing bingo. She is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9am and continue until Mass time.
