William (Bill) Francis Hollman, 64, died Friday, June 12, 2020. Bill was a native of Canandaigua New York, and lived in New Orleans for the past 18 years. A Marine Veteran and lifelong salesman, Bill most recently sold cabinetry, and once owned Valvano's Central News in Canandaigua with his father, Frank Hollman. Bill was a world traveler, a historian, a lover of debate, cigars, and wine. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ada and Francis Hollman of Canandaigua New York. He is survived by his sisters, Alice Hecker and Deborah Gorton, his brothers Chris, Scott, and Phil Hollman, and many nieces and nephews. A private family gathering will be held in his honor in Canandaigua, NY. As Bill would say, "moderation is the virtue of the mediocre," so raise a glass, smoke a cigar, or do the thing that brings you joy to honor Bill's memory.
