Vernon Gregson Jr

Gregson, Vernon Joseph Jr., PhD. died peacefully in his sleep on April 22. Vernon Gregson was a former Jesuit priest. He taught Religious Studies at Loyola University for 40 years. He was also a lawyer and a psychoanalyst. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School, Spring Hill College, Marquette University and Loyola Law School. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Joseph Gregson, Sr., and Mary Frances Burns Gregson. The funeral will be held at Ignatius Chapel in Bobet Hall at Loyola University on Wednesday May 11 at 2:30 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Loyola University or Jesuit High School.
