Thomas Joseph Landry, 69 yrs old, of New Orleans passed away in the early morning hours of October, 31st after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends at the end of his life.

Thomas was born in Donaldsonville, the third of nine children, to loving parents John C. Landry and Clara Schexnayder Landry on July 9th, 1954.  He and his siblings grew up in Donaldsonville among a large and close-knit extended family.  He graduated from Ascension Catholic High School and Nicholls State University. He went on to own and operate Evans & Landry Gallery in Metairie. Thomas then lived and worked in Los Angeles as a talented and sought-after designer for thirty years, eventually becoming owner and chief designer of Thomas J. Landry & Associates. He loved to travel and used his trips to Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East and East Asia as inspiration for his projects. He returned to New Orleans upon his retirement in 2019 to be closer to his family and very dear friends. Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his father John C. Landry (1925-2005), his mother Clara Schexnayder Landry (1930-2023) and younger sister Nancy Landry (7/1958).

He is survived by his son Matthew Landry, daughter-in-law Jennifer Cardinale Landry, and granddaughters Cora Landry, Ellen Landry, and Louisa Landry. As well as his siblings and their spouses: Diane Weil (Eric), Paula Brennan (Gerald), John Landry (Darlene), Carol Gautreau (Glenn), Susan Rodriguez (Jody), Michael Landry, James Landry, and Kurt Landry, along with fifteen nieces and nephews, and twenty great nieces and nephews.
