Thomas Charles Finas

Thomas Charles Finas entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on June 25, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace Finas and Charles Finas, Jr. 

Tom is survived by his sisters Charlene DiCrispino (Vincent), Carolyn Bollinger (Drew), and his loving partner of 27 years, Darin Stearns; also survived by nephew Kevin DiCrispino (Jacqueline); nieces Kelli Gremillion (Todd), Melanie Bondi (Tony); and a host of grand-nieces and nephews: Dominic DiCrispino; Karli, Madyson and Laci Gremillion; Jackson and Braxton Bondi. 

He was a native New Orleanian and worked for the City of New Orleans for over 35 years. He was loved by many, especially by members of the Stearns family, natives of North Dakota. 

Tom, a devoted Christian and faithful Catholic, was assisted in the transition to his heavenly home by the compassionate caregivers at Chateau De Notre Dame Hospice. Our family will be forever thankful for their wonderful help and support.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. Louis King of France, 615 Pere Antoine Alley, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until Mass time.Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, Covington, LA. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoenfh.com
