Theodore Antonio Borrillo (Ted) passed away at age 88 on August 27, 2019. Ted was a long time resident of Littleton, Colorado, and passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he had been staying with family. Ted was born on July 4, 1931, into an immigrant Italian family in the Bronx, New York. He was the second son of Michael and Mary Borrillo, the younger brother of Tony Borrillo. He grew up in New York, graduated high school, attended the City College of New York, and received a Juris Doctorate from St. Johns University School of Law. He served honorably as a Judge Advocate General in the US Army. He returned to the United States and received an LLM from Harvard University. Ted was a member of the Catholic Lawyers and was nominated and accepted to the National College of Trial Lawyers. Ted was also a poet. He authored several poetry books starting with his first, Beyond Loneliness. In addition to his poetry, he authored a book on the history of Elitch Theater and an autobiography of an early 20th century stage and film star, born out of his life long love of the theater.
