Words can never express how much his family will miss his wonderful spirit and big heart. To those who knew and loved him, he was a gentle, kind, passionate, and loving person who everyone held in the highest esteem.
In the words of his grandfather, he was “a grandson who makes me proud.” By Sam’s own words he considered himself a “part time hunter, part time scuba diver, full time cool/random guy!”. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks and the World War II Museum.
