Rose Montegut Smith passed away on September 12, 2017 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Marvin Anthony Smith, Sr. Mother of Jody Brouillette, Karen Guidry, Cindy Chauppette, Julie Metzler and the late Branch J. Smith and Marvin A. Smith, Jr. Sister of George Montegut and the late Shirley Carballo and Charles Montegut. Daughter of the late Charles John Montegut and Agnes Mullet Montegut. Also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SONS, 3827 Canal Street, on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit after 9:30 AM. Interment will be private.
