Roch Anthony Vizzini

Roch “Rocky” Vizzini passed away on August 20, 2021. He was 56 years old. 

Rocky was born on April 26, 1965 to Gloria Guerin Vizzini and Joseph A. Vizzini in New Orleans, Louisiana. His grandparents were Rose Spokes (Spucches) and Francesco “Frank” Pascal Vizzini and Carmela “Camille” Cali and Wilfred Louis Guérin, Sr. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.

Roch grew up in Arabi, Louisiana and spent summer weekends in Clermont Harbor, Mississippi with his family. He attended St. Louise de Marillac grammar school and graduated from Holy Cross in 1983. 

Rocky will also be missed by his colleagues at Bourbon Heat where he worked for the last 11 years. He was known for being able to pull off nearly impossible tasks on a regular basis. 

Rocky is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his daughter Laney Vizzini and a grandson Zander Lee Vizzini. He also will be missed by six brothers and sisters: Stephen, Mark, Angel (Stan) Boasso, Christian “Kit” (Erica) and Joseph Jr. (Jessica) and his companion for the last 11 years Tracy George.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 12:15 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
