Robert Bleakley Golden

Robert Bleakley Golden Jr. was received into heaven on  Thursday, January 12, 2023.  Bobby was a native of New Orleans and lived in Gretna. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Eveline and Andrew Golden and Marie and Gustave Bourgeois, Sr.

He is survived by his parents Madeleine Golden and Robert Golden, Sr; his sisters Marie Boquet (Cary) and Kathleen Aubin (Patric); his nieces and nephews Patrick and Catherine Boquet; and Daniel, Emily and Elizabeth Aubin. 

The family would like to recognize and thank the staff at both the Metropolitan Development Center in Belle Chase and Crossroads of Louisiana in Gretna for the loving care of Robert.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17th from 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home.  A Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel with interment to follow in Metairie Cemetery.
