Rita Faye Roberts was born on March 6, 1924 in New Orleans, LA. She passed away on January 29, 2019 in New Orleans, LA.
She was the widow of Judge Henry J. Roberts of New Orleans Civil District Courts and she was the youngest daughter of the late Walter and Alma Sanders and sister of the late Marion S. Landry. She is survived by her nephew Kenneth O. Landry (Nancy) and her three great nephews Paul (Lisa) Landry, Adam (Anastasia) Landry and Jeffrey Landry. Rita Faye was a resident of Poydras Home and former active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the New Orleans Garden Society, Salvation Army Women’s Auxilliary, Toastmasters International as well as many other civic groups. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch #2 Cemetery. JACOB SCHOEN & SON in charge of the arrangements.
