Raymond J Franatovich Jr., 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Ray was a native of St. Bernard Parish pre Katrina and resided in Denham Springs for the last 11 years.  He was an avid Saints fan and outdoors man.  He treasured his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.  Preceded in death by his Father, Raymond J Franatovich. Survived by his wife of 43 years,Janet Doar Franatovich, children, Kimberly Franatovich DeLisle (Jacques), Ryan D Franatovich (Kristy), Matthew J Franatovich (Lauren), mother, Marguerite Zulli Franatovich, grandchildren, Lia, Lexi, Janae, Matthew, Brynn, Evan, Noah, & Gracie, siblings, David (Cindy), Sharon Casbon (Marcus), Steven (Debbie), Mark (Melissa), brother in law, David Doar (Julie), numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.  The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:15pm at J.
