Philippe Robert Dubos

Philippe Robert Dubos died peacefully at Ochsner Hospital on April 17, 2024. His loving wife of 47 years, Kathryn, and his children, Christopher, Jonathan (Michelle), and Melanie were by his side. Born in Nice, France on June 5, 1948 to his loving parents Reine Giulietta and Rene Dubos, he grew up on the Quai des Ètats-Unis with his older brother Gerard. He graduated from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland and went on to work in Canada and the U.S in the field of hotel management. He worked many years on Key Biscayne, FL and retired in New Orleans, LA. After a career in hotel management spanning 40 years, his high standards for hospitality service were always at play anytime he visited a hotel as a guest. Philippe loved his family, the beach, a good book, fine wine, discussing politics and world history, and his granddogs (Klaus, George, and Chewie). Philippe is survived by Kathryn Dubos, Christopher Dubos, Jonathan Dubos (Michelle), Melanie Dubos, and his brother, Gerard Dubos, He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
