Pearley Enoch Beatty

Pearley E. Beatty, Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home on Wednesday, November 13th 2019. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of history by playing trivia with those around him. He was known for always making you smile by having a piece of candy to give you. He loved spending his free time reading and watching classic movies.

He is survived by his two sons Stephen Beatty and Stewart Beatty, daughter-in-law Laura Guerrero, grandchildren Stephen Jr., Danielle, Rebecca, Stewart II, ILeana, adopted grandchild Joe Parker and great grandchild Rylan. He now joins his beloved wives, Patricia Beatty and Judy Beatty.

The family wants to thank the staff and residence of the Veterans Home for all their kindness and hospice in his care for their incredible support during his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation service on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 4:30 pm. in the Gerard L. Schoen, Jr. Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. The funeral service will start at 6:30 pm.
