Patrick Fahey, 65, died suddenly on Thursday November 1, 2018. Pat was a native of Chicago and lived in New Orleans for the past 30+ years. A graduate of Northwestern University, his early career was in TV production and political speech writing in New York City and Chicago. Later, in the early 80’s his career took him to New Orleans where he was VP and eventually CEO of the Delta Queen Steamboat Company. Later he changed directions and became co-owner of the Ameripure Oyster Company. He is survived by his beloved son, Sean David and his two sisters, Nancy Kidder of Chicago and Maria Fahey of Houston. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 P.M. until 5 P.M. with a celebration of Pats life starting at 5 P.M.
