Patricia Ann Reeb

June 2, 1951 ~ July 27, 2018 (age 67)
Patricia (Pat) Marelo Reeb 67, of New Orleans, passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Passages Hospice and The Sanctuary in New Orleans, LA.
She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and husband of 47 years- David Michael Reeb and her 4 daughters, Tina M. Reeb (Timothy Verdin), Michelle J. Reeb (Kenith M. Langsford), Becky A. Reeb (Louis G. Johnston, III) and Connie A. Reeb. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Robert Hoolahan, Camryn Hoolahan, Harley Powers, Baylynn Johnston, Brayley Johnston, Brynkly Johnston, Timothy Verdin II, Jonathan Verdin, Korrie Langsford, Kade Langsford and preceded in death by grandson Kole Daniel Langsford.
Patricia is survived by her sister Carol Lynne Marelo (Jerry Hingle) along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Patricia was born, June 2, 1951 and raised in New Orleans, a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, where she and David raised their family. Patricia then returned to New Orleans until her death.
Patricia was employed at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA, where she continued her 20-year career in medical billing. She loved her job, helping others and loved her co-workers and friends that she made.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 9:00 AM on Saturday August 4, 2018 until Memorial Services begin at 12:15 PM at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home ~ 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119
The family would like to send a special thank you to Vickie Long, Donna Neumiller and Hattie Stanley for supplying dinners to Patricia’s family while battling cancer, enduring treatment and after her passing.
Thank you to The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center, Ochsner’s Medical Center Oncology Department, as well as Passages Hospice and The Sanctuary nurses and caregivers for the love and care they provided.
