On Wednesday October 20, 2021, God gracefully called him home. Michael was affectionately known by many as Mike. He was reared in Columbia, Mississippi where he attended public school. At a young age michael accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Michael was a native of Columbia, Mississippi and worked at several jobs in new Orleans including the Aquarium of the Americas, Super Popeye’s and Katie’s Restaurant. Preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Asidean Pigott, his sister Tina Pigott and step son Corey Anderson , grandparents Jessie may and Phillip Mutcherson. Survived by his wife Denise A Ryals, 2 sons Michael Anderson and Dylan Roberts. 1 daughter Mia Roberts, 1 step son Kentrell Anderson, 1 step daughter Jeronda Anderson. 4 sisters Evelyn (Lawrence), Beverlyn, Sandra, and Alicia. 4 brothers Dennis, Ronald, Perry (Tory) and James. 9 Grandchildren 1 great grandchild. Aunts, uncles, other family and friends. All are invited to a visitation at Jacob Schoen & Son funeral home 34827 Canal Street New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday October 30 at 1 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 2 P.M. with Pastor Keith Stewardman officiating. Burial will be private. Friends from St. Jude Nursing Home, TCA Child Care, Firestone, and Ochsner Health Care are invited to attend. Arrangements by Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home.
