Mia Rodrigue West

Mia Caren Rodrigue West, 43, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Metairie, passed away
Sunday, October 7, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November
10th at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 315 Ridgelake Drive in Metairie, where she was a member.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin with a Celebration of Life to follow at
the St. Ann Catholic Church Reception Center in Bourg.
She is survived by her husband, Eric David West of Metairie; her daughter, Lillie Grace
Authement; her son, Grant Patrick Authement; stepsons Dylan Thomas West, Ethan Conrad
West, Nathan Michael West; her father, Mack Calvin Rodrigue, Jr. and wife Kathie of Houma;
her sister, Monica Rodrigue Alley and husband Todd of Clinton; her brother, Mack Calvin
Rodrigue III and wife Alaina of Prairieville; as well as many loving cousins, uncles, aunts,
nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends.
Mia was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Marie LeBoeuf Rodrigue. She was a
graduate of South Terrebonne High School and worked at Grand Vision in Metairie. Mia will be
remembered as a compassionate mother, devoted wife, loving daughter and sister, and faithful
friend. To know Mia was to love her. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she
touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family to establish a fund for her
