Melva Troye Caillouet has left us for a peaceful, eternal life on October 13, 2017 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George J. Caillouet, Sr. She was the beloved mother of Georgann C. Kerry (Jeff), George J. Caillouet, Jr. (Colette) and Milton A. Caillouet (Yvette). Her entire world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren: Shane Kerry, Kimberly Torbet, Tiffany Truitt, Susan Touchet, Ashley Caillouet, Corey Caillouet, Sean Caillouet and 12 great grandchildren. Also eagerly awaiting the birth of her 13th great grand baby. She was preceded in death by her parents Mathais A. Troye and Eva Ricouard Troye and her sister Joyce Troye Camp and brother Mathais (Matt) Troye.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul #3 Cemetery.
