Mary Louise Nunez

Mary Louise Latour Nunez entered into eternal rest at her home on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the age of 80. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Arthur P. Nunez, Sr. She is the loving mother of Michele Greco, Elizabeth (Patrick) Williams, Arthur (Denise) Nunez, Jr., David (Kayla) Nunez, Sr. and Jennifer (Russell) McPhail. She is the devoted grandmother of Lonnie (Kayla) Greco, Jr., Kemp Hartzog, David Nunez Jr., Dustin Williams, Blake Nunez, Emily Hartzog, Hailey Williams, Mikayla Nunez, Saige Nunez, Abby McPhail and Ava McPhail. She is the devoted great grandmother of Lily Greco and Ryder Greco. Loving sister to Louis Latour, Jr. and Sylvia Latour. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis O. Latour, Sr. and Mary Banner Latour; her in-laws, Leo J. and Dorothy (Herthum) Nunez, Sr. and her great grandson Liam Greco. Mary Louise was a graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School, Class of 1956. Although she is a native of New Orleans, LA she has been a resident in Terrytown, LA for 50 years. She was a loving and caring friend to many and enjoyed reading, writing and geneolgy but most of all spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren with lots of love and hugs. Her love was immense. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Christ the King Church, 535 Deerfield Rd., Terrytown, LA 70056. Service will begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Mary Louise's name to the American Heart Association or The Parkinson's Foundation. JACOB SCHOEN & SON in charge of arrangements.
