Mary Ann Amato Bourgeois, 94, born October 22, 1923 in Slidell, LA died November 20, 2017 in New Orleans. Loving daughter of Samuel and Lena Amato. Married to the late Woodrow Bourgeois. Mother of the late Vicki Bourgeois. Survived by daughter Bonnie Brasseaux (Danny), Grandchildren Rene Bourgeois III ( Michelle) and Darren Bourgeois (Kim). Great Grandchildren Amanda , Ashley, Madeleine and Julien Bourgeois. Sister Johanna Simoneaux (Charlie) and Gloria Ciaccio, and the late Russell Amato, Joseph Amato, Sam Amato, and William (Billy) Neuburger. Ms. Bourgeois was a hair dresser for 50 years and her most loved hobby was ballroom dancing. The family would like to thank her care givers at Peristyle Lake Louise and the staff at AmeriCare Hospice for being so attentive to her and her family. Also to her doctor, Dr. Nicholas Angelico.
