Marguerite Jane Dominick

Our precious Angel, Marguerite Jane Dominick, age 3, was called home to Jesus on Saturday, June 19, 2021. First born to Brandon Joseph Dominick and Megan Clair Lalanne, Marguerite’s free spirit and independence will forever be held in our hearts and memories.

Marguerite’s favorite things to do were playing outside with no shoes, caring for her dolls, wearing princess dresses and cuddling with those she loved. Margie was always sure to include her bestie and little sister, Maggie-May, through all her adventures and explorations. Though her time with us will never be enough, those who love Marguerite will always remember her as the sweetest little lady filled with curiosity and love.

Marguerite is welcomed in heaven by her paternal great-grandparents: Clyde and Irene Dominick, Albert (Al) Landry Jr. and Robert (Bob) Berry; paternal grandmother, Catherine Landry Dominick; maternal great-grandparents, Charles Miller and Elizabeth Jane Lalanne.

Marguerite Jane is survived by her parents: Brandon Joseph Dominick and Megan Clair Lalanne, her sister Maggie-May Marie Dominick. Paternal family: great-grandmother, Marguerite (Margie) ‘Grem’ Berry, grandparents, Mark ‘Pépère’ Dominick, Catherine (Cathy) ‘YaYa’ Burke; aunts and uncles: Chalon and Bradley Case, Trisha and William Casanova and her loving cousins, Leighton Case and Wesley Casanova. Maternal family: great-grandparents, Stanley and Dolores Hymel; grandparents, Christopher ‘Bud’ and Lori ‘LuLu’ Lalanne; godparents, Drew Lalanne and Camille Bunting, uncle Jamie Bunting, and aunt Tanner Cordick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, LA 70002. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Jacob Schoen & Son.
