Margaret Davis Schaff

Margaret Davis Schaff, 87, died unexpectedly April 10, 2022, at her home. She was born June 30, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Thomas J. Davis, Sr. and Annie DeCourcy.

Margaret by all accounts was a dedicated spouse, mother, grandparent and great-grandparent to her entire family, always the consummate peacemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Schaff, as well as all her siblings:  Thomas “Dootie” Davis, Jr., Edward “Buster” Davis, Katie Davis Ayd and Lorraine Davis Sansone and her grandson, Justice P. Fenerty.

Surviving are her three children, Lorie S. Mcmillan, Robert R. Schaff, his wife, Catherine and Richard T. Schaff, his wife, Nataliya. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Thomas A. McMillan, Amber E. Sire, Heidi S. Burns, Nicholas A. Schaff, Caroline M. Beatrous and Meghan M. Schaff, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
