Marcella Boehm Beter

Marcella “Grandmother” “Ma” Boehm Beter, went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2021 at 1:45 AM at Ochsner Hospital due to COVID Pneumonia at the age of 95.

Widow of Frederick H. Beter, Jr. Beloved Mother of Fritz Beter and Marcy G. Beter and daughter-in-law Johnette Beter. Loving Grandmother of Stephanie Beter, Jonathan Beter, Frank L. Aymami, III and Christie Ellis (Danny). Great grandmother of Kaitlyn Gautreau, Gabrielle Ellis, Alex Aymami, Abigail Ellis, Grace Aymami, Joshua Ellis, Kaiden Beter and Ashton Beter. Daughter of the late Peter Herman Boehm, Laida Savoy Boehm and sister of the late Rita Kinta Boehm Mader.

Marcella was a devout Catholic and Eucharistic Minister at Divine Mercy Parish. She devoted her life taking care of her handicapped daughter until the very end.

Marcella and Fred loved to dance, their reuniting means they are dancing together forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to Noon with a Mass following at Noon at Divine Mercy Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy in Kenner, LA. Respectful of current COVID guidelines, all attendees must wear masks and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
