Mae Rose B. Hasselbeck passed away on May 19, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Ernest B. Hasselbeck. Mother of Marilyn H. Barbato, Carolyn H. Bazile (late Anthony), and Stephen R. Hasselbeck (late Angie). Grandmother of Jeff Barbato, Lorraine Barbato, Mark Bazile, and Jennifer Braud. Also survived by six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Edgar Bordelon and Ida Roy Bordelon. Sister of the late Thelma Rabalais and Rev. Ivern M. Bordelon. Special friend of the late Charlie Butler
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Patrick #3 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers masses preferred. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
