Lydia Lizarraga

Lydia Breaux Lizarraga passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 99. Mrs. Lizarraga was born on October 10, 1922. She was a native of Pierre Part, LA and a resident of New Orleans. Wife of the late Juan F. Lizarraga. Mother of Juan J. Lizarraga (Lynn), August C. Lizarraga (Ellen) and Michael T. Lizarraga (Dawn). Grandmother of Cherie Gressaffa (Tom), John Lizarraga, Alainna Arena (Wayne), August Lizarraga, Jr. (Marcela), Alexandra Johnson (Derek). Great-Grandmother of Jane Gressaffa, Patrick Gressaffa, Brynn Arena, Brooks Arena, Diego Lizarraga, and Antonella Lizarraga. Sister of Lillian Brooks and the late Alvin Breaux, Harvey Breaux, and Livian Bourgeois. Daughter of the late Felix Jean Baptiste Breaux and Florence Josephine LeBlanc.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M.
