Kathleen Finney Becnel

Kathleen Finney Becnel, devoted mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 67. Kathleen is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Sabrio Finney and her father, John G. Finney, Jr.

She is survived by her children; Bridget Becnel Delivorias, Kelly Becnel Rovetto, Meghan Becnel Burns (Erin) and Ryan Becnel; grandchildren, Philip Delivorias, Barron Delivorias, Jackson Rovetto, and Sloan Rovetto.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Karen Finney Duhe (Leroy), Kevin Patrick Finney, John Gabriel Finney, III, M.D. (Karen), Kerry Michael Finney (Dana) and Kyle Finney Taylor (Christopher).
She was born in New Orleans and graduated from Dominican High School and UNO. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University. She was an Educator and also practiced Law in St. John Parish.

She will be missed by so many because of her kind heart.

Family and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, November 26, 2018 at St. Louis Cathedral, 615 Pere Antoine Alley, New Orleans, LA 70116.
