June was the most loving mother of Ferdinand T. (Ken) Kenney, Jr., Brother Dwight G. Kenney, S.C., Raymond J. Kenney (Jeanne) and Cynthia A. Kenney (Cheryl). Loving Grandmother of Shane Kenney (Lauren) and Ramsey Kenney.  Loving sister of Joan B. DeBrock (Paul). She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand T. Kenney, Sr., her mother and father, Stella (Treadaway) and Joseph Bendix, siblings, Rose Marie Schwab, Raymond Bendix, Betty Schroth (Byron), Kitty Olsen (Loy), Lawrence Hingle (Alma) and Edmund Hingle (Audrey). Survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, their families and friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

Our mother was entirely devoted to her family and her faith. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. She was a parishioner at a number of churches through the years, including the old St. Ann’s on Ursuline, St. Gabriel, St. Maria Goretti and Annunciation Parish in Kiln, MS. Mom worked for the phone company until she married and returned to working part-time, following Dad’s death, as a self-employed distributor for Herbalife products and later as an employee at the University of New Orleans bookstore.
