Joseph R. Royes, Sr. 79, died December 22, 2017.  Mr. Royes was a lifelong sheet metal worker through Sheet Metal Workers Local #11.  Preceded in death by his parents Joseph M. and Clara L. Royes, brothers, Charles P. and Alvin G. Royes.  Survived by his wife of 58 years Marie Puissegur Royes, Children: Andree Moor (Donald), Joseph R. Jr. (Dawn) and Christopher J. Royes.  Grandchildren Brittany Deliberto (John), Joseph R. Royes III, and Candace Moor.  Great Grandchild: Jude DiBenedetto.  Brothers Albert O. (Linda), and John L. Royes. Sister Jeanie Doreck (Herbert) and sisters-in-law Alean and Suzanne Royes.  A mass of Christian burial will be Friday December 29 at 11 a.m. at Our lady of Divine Providence 1000 Starrett Metairie LA, with interment to follow in St. Patrick #1 Cemetery.
