James Joseph Russell III

James J. “Rusty” Russell, III passed away peacefully at his residence at Magnolia School on February 22, 2018 at the age of 71. He was born in New Orleans, LA on December 25, 1946. He is the son of the late James J. Russell, Jr., and his mother, the late Dorothy Huber Russell. He is survived by two brothers, Armand “Smiley” Russell and Carl Russell, his sister in law Sharon W. Russell, plus many loving family and friends. Rusty will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. The family would also love to thank all the Magnolia School Staff and clients for the excellent care and making Rusty’s life so happy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be sent to Magnolia School.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 10, 2018 at Magnolia School on Campus, 100 Central Ave Jefferson, LA at 10:15 am. Visitation will be from 9am-10am. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, 1322 Louisa Street, New Orleans LA, 70117. JACOB SCHOEN & SON in charge of the arrangements.
