Irwin M. Senentz, Jr., 76, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. Irwin was a native of New Orleans but lived in Baton Rouge for the past 12 years. A lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, where Irwin served faithfully in numerous capacities, including President, Stewardship Chairman, and Chairman of the Board of Elders. Retired from Shell Oil Company in 2004. Survived by his wife of 54 years Sandra Randolph Senentz, sister Gayle Senentz Olmstead (Bob), son Daniel Irwin Senentz (Tammy), and daughter Melissa Senentz Wiseman (Craig). Irwin is also survived by five grandsons: Daniel Irwin Senentz, Jr., Benjamin Patrick Wiseman, Matthew Corey Wiseman, David Alexander Senentz, and Dominic Joseph Senentz. The family will be receiving friends at 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 3937 Canal Street, on Monday, October 16, 2017. A service of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. at St. John, with interment to follow at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Irwin’s name to St. John Lutheran Church, New Orleans, or Trinity Lutheran Church, Baton Rouge
