Iris Wilbraham Loyacano

Iris Wilbraham Loyacano, age 99, passed away on August 23, 2021. Proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Alvin John Loyacano. Survived by loving children Melvin John Loyacano (Christine) and Linda Loyacano Sunseri (Cyril). Daughter of Henry Wilbraham and Sarah Elizabeth Blomley Wilbraham, both of Oldham, England. Sister of the late Leslie Wilbraham of Canada. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Iris was born January 31, 1922 in Oldham, England. She came to the U.S., as a war bride, in 1947. She was a resident of New Orleans, LA for 42 years and of Kenner, LA for the past 32 years. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will start at 12 PM.
