I knew Imre for many years. We have been life-long friends. I remember him when he first came to this country. We belonged to several organizations and enjoyed dancing and a nice dinner. Every Christmas Imre has sent me a lovely Christmas card. What is this Christmas without his card? Not much. I shall always remember him with a warm spot in my heart.

Linda and I were saddened to read of Imre's death. Imre and I met socially in the 70's, became good friends and shortly thereafter did business together.

Imre's work was not only professional but always practical. He gave you the feeling that his design and advice were the same as if he was working on something he owned.

Imre was a great guy and will be sorely missed.

Our sincere condolences.

I had the pleasure of working with Imre as an intern fresh out of school many years ago. He offered me the job as soon as he learned I was also a violinist, and we talked about classical music many times through the mutual love of the art. He shaped my thinking on how to approach problems in architecture and gave me multiple opportunities to explore the profession fully during my time working with him. He always pushed for perfection and strove to achieve the impossible for our clients, which could make him hard to work for, but brought out the best work in those of us that stayed the longest. For that, I will always be grateful. And for that, I think of him often. I'm sorry to see him go.
