Hellen Anita Pierce

Hellen Anita Pierce passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.  She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.  Hellen was the daughter of the late Lily A.  Castay and the late Theodore W.  Pierce.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers Melvin, George, and Theodore (Velma) Pierce, and sisters Lillian P.  Boe (Lee), Dorothy Pierce, and Ruth P. McDonough (Edward).  Hellen is survived by her nieces and nephews Edward D.  McDonough Jr. (Dayle), Gary Martin McDonough (Sandra Nichols), Cindy McDonough Jobe (William), Cathy McDonough, Theodore Pierce Jr.  (Leslie), Sharon Pierce, Linda B.  Canzoneri (Charlie), the late Leon "Jim" Boe (Elaine), and Lee Boe.  Hellen also had many great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday October 7, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 12:15 in the Chapel at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
