Harry Joseph Molligan II, 91, went home to his heavenly father on Tuesday, May 4th at 2:13 PM peacefully at his son’s home in Newark, DE. Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Lore Molligan of 57 years, and survived by his three children, Harry Joseph Molligan III, MD (Ann) of Norfolk, VA; Danny James Molligan (Khue) of Newark, DE; and Patrick Frank Molligan, MD (Twyla) of Lubbock, TX. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Harry Joseph Molligan IV, MD (Katie) of Norfolk, VA; Christopher Scott Molligan, MD (Madeline) of Norfolk, VA; Jeremiah Francis Dang Molligan, MD (Aivi) of Rochester, MN; Justin Thomas Molligan of Baltimore, MD; Nicholas James Molligan of New Orleans, LA; Andrew Armbruster Molligan of New Orleans, LA; Joshua Patrick Molligan of Lubbock, TX; Bella Lucita Molligan of Lubbock, TX; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Giabella Dimitri, Regan Lore Molligan and Declyn Saylor Molligan. He is the son of the late Harry Joseph Molligan and Gesina F. Bauer and brother of the late Irma Molligan Klein and the late Shirley Mary Molligan Laque. Harry was a devoted husband and father who changed everyone he was in contact with for the better. He had an unwavering faith of the Lord our God, which was the reason he was such a good teacher. Harry studied plumbing at Delgado Community College and worked at Shell Chemical in Norco, LA until the early sixties. He opened his own plumbing company and eventually his own plumbing supply company, Jefferson Pipe and Supply, which he worked at with his wife, Lois, for 45 years until his beloved wife passed in 2013. Harry was a member of the Plumber and Steamfitters Union Local 60 for over 45 years. His remaining years he spent with family and friends awaiting his time to return to his Father. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119.
