Gloria Dupaquier Gebbs passed away at the age of 95 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lloyd H. Gebbs, her parents Thelma Norton and Meynier Dupaquier and sisters Rose and Audrey. Gloria is survived by her brother Norton Dupaquier (Charlesa), three children; Cynthia G. Olave (Dan), Elizabeth G. Mayeux (Gene) and Lloyd H. Gebbs, Jr. (Juanita); five grandchildren, Stephen Olave (Kelli), Kenneth Malmstrom, MD, Karin Malmstrom, RN (Richard), Cristina Gebbs, Lloyd A. Gebbs (Victoria), four great grandchildren; Gabriel Olave, Sophia Olave, Nicholas Gebbs, Joselyn Gebbs and many nieces and nephews. She was the former owner of Papillion Hair Stylists in New Orleans East. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 12:15 pm on Friday, February 2, 2017 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery #3.
