Geraldine Hartdegen Smith

Geraldine Hartdegen Smith passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 in Bush, Louisiana. She was born and raised in New Orleans. She later lived in Metairie, Louisiana. She managed Zenith Park Condos and previously worked security at Lake Forest Mall. She also worked as a deputy sheriff for Orleans Parish. She was a widower and was proceeded in death by her eight sisters and two brothers. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Lafontaine Hartdegen of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Smith Roy of Metairie, Louisiana and Lisa Smith Massimini of Bush, Louisiana, and her son, William P. Smith of Metairie, Louisiana. She is survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Hastings, Brittanie LeBlanc, Thomas and Chad Mouledous, and Melissa, Tiffany, and Joseph Smith. She is survived by many great grandchildren who she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at  12:15 PM. Visitation will start at 10 AM. Interment to follow at St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery.
