Gary Thaddeus Burd

Gary Thaddeus Burd (Killa) passed away on October 19, 2021 with his family by his side. A true New Orleanian who loved life. He always had a smile on his face. Killa was a French Quarter staple and he never met anyone who wasn’t his friend. The best bartender in the city.
He stayed during Katrina to help when everyone else ran. Celebrate his life rooting for the Saints and LSU. He is survived by a brother Charlie Burd, IV and three sisters Dawn Pitcher, Debbie Scott and Kathy Uhle and one niece and many nephews. Preceded in death by Charles Burd, III and Rosemary Burd.
