Gail Ann Braud deLeon, age 77 years old, born on January 7, 1944 in New Orleans, LA, longtime resident of Covington, LA, died peacefully on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 8:37 PM at Slidell Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife and best friend of 29 years of the late Sidney J. deLeon III.  Daughter of the late Thelma Louise Montecino Braud and the late Herald Andrew Braud.  Gail is survived by her son Troy Martin Miceli, Sr. and his wife Mitzi and her sisters Marilyn (Mitzi) Braud Sharp, Belinda Braud Stach and Vanessa Braud Kynerd; her grandchildren Troy Martin Miceli, Jr. and his wife Joanna, Joshua Paul Miceli and his wife Lizbeth, Christopher Herald Miceli and his wife Elizabeth, Michael Vincent Miceli and his wife Jennifer; Great-grandmother of Benjamin Troy Miceli, Jude Michael Castille, Nila Miceli, Elía Miceli, Lyla Miceli, Aiden Miceli, and Harriet Anne Miceli.  Gail is also survived by her niece Jenna Louise Braud-Ritzmann and her husband John, great nephew Andrew Jacob Ritzmann, and great niece Emma Catherine Ritzmann. Owner of Hermetic Machines Inc. in New Orleans for 40 years, with her husband, until Katrina destroyed their business.  Longtime member of Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), Secretary/Treasurer of Delta Region of SCCA, Secretary/Treasurer/Points Keeper for TLAC (Trans Louisiana Auto Cross Challenge). 
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service at JACOB SCHOEN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119, on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:15 PM.  Visitation will start at 1:30 PM. A private service will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
