Tribute

Frank David Modica, lifelong resident of New Orleans, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.
Born July 5, 1933 in New Orleans, he was the son of the late Angelina Serio Modica and George Modica.
Frank graduated from Warren Easton High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952-1956, serving in the Korean War. He then worked in beverage sales for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathi Fontenot Modica; sons, Michael and Matthew (Stephanie); brother, George (Carolyn); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home on January 12th at 12:15pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be private at the Fontenot Family Cemetery in DeRidder, La. Many thanks for great memories with friends at the Peppermill Restaurant through the years.
