He is survived by one amazing daughter, Kelly (Enjoli) Mallary and one very talented son, Frank Allen. Both of Metairie, LA, 2 precious grandchildren, Stella and Campbell Mallary, who he thought the sun rose and set, his beloved mother, Yvonne Lauro, 2 sisters, Patricia (John) Trembly and Joann Holland, Brother-in-law, Randy and sister-in-law, Connie Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Lauro and his faithful companion of 16 years, Tujaq’s ACE of Spades, MH.
In 1989, Frank, Donna and children, relocated to Charleston, SC. He built a very successful General Contacting business, Colonial Restoration, and quickly became embedded in the town where he made lifelong friends. It was not difficult for him to meet many people who became his family away from home. His love for dogs became a hobby and passion that would take him all over the southeast training and competing Chesapeake Bay and Labrador retrievers for hunt tests under the tutelage of Sidney and Nancy Tidwell of Camden, SC.
