Faye Gary Desselle

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Faye Gary Desselle, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, gained her heavenly wings at the age of 67. Faye married Brent A. Desselle on June 9, 1973. She will be greatly missed by her son, Blaine A. Desselle (Ashley M. Desselle); her three grandchildren, Brayden A. Desselle, Brock A. Desselle and Addison M. Desselle and her brother, Patrick Armond (Loretta).  She will also be mourned by Barney and Darlene, Cathie and A.J., Bernedette, Michael, Vickie and Gaynell; nieces and nephews: Missy, Timmy, Renee, Shane, Brandon, Tiffany, Dana, Cherie and Aaron and great nieces and nephews: Cole, Delaney, Peyton, Paige and Aiden in addition to many others. Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Faye Desselle; her parents, Paul and Lucille Gary and her nephew, Kevin Armond. Faye was a former bookkeeper for Glazer and Armstrong McCall as well as a comptroller for Fat City Motors and All Type Auto. She was also a caregiver of many. No one that met Faye would forget her way with words, infectious laugh, humor and the love she showered her family and friends with. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. in New Orleans. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
