F.S. Menetre, Sr.

Francis S. “F.S.” Menetré, Sr. born October 31, 1929, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at age 88. Beloved husband of Antoinette Rizzo Menetré; Father of F.S. Menetré, Jr. (Arlene), Suzanne M. Rodrigue (Ray), Yvette “Evie” M. Bulliard (Jim), and the late Gene J. Menetré; Grandfather of Jeanne C. Menetré, James F. Menetré, Ray J. Rodrigue, Jr., and Renée C. Rodrigue; Brother of Jane M. Peterson, the late Mary Helen M. Helland, the late Gene J. Menetré, and the late Leslie E. Menetré, Jr.; and Son of the late Leslie E. Menetré & Loretto Schwartz Menetré. He was a US Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War and retired from Kraft Foods after 37 years. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the Visiting Angels, especially Cavahna Scott, the Passages Hospice, and Anthony Christiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel at Jacob Schoen & Son funeral Home 3827 Canal St. with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. the family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until service time Monday.
