Evangelina Gautier

Vangie Gautier, 71, died Monday January 27, 2020. Vangie was a born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but New Orleans Louisiana was her home on and off, since 1974. She recently lived here since 1993. She was a member of Blessed Francis Seelos Parish and was a member of the parish council. An active member of the Catholic Community, she worked for and with a number of charities in the area. She was preceded in death by her son, Mario “Linky” Gautier, her Mother, Josefina Tanchez, Brother Mario “Tito” Tanchez and Father, Mario Tanchez. She is survived by her children Noelle Gautier-Combs of Virginia; Eddie Gautier of Connecticut and wife Fredonna; Jon-Paul Gautier of New Orleans and wife Rosanna; Amanda Moulton of New Orleans and Carlos X Gautier of Virginia and 11 grandchildren; Tyler, Michael, Josie, Haley, Virginia, Isabella, Abbie, Eva, Eddie, CJ, and Angelina. The family will receive friends at 11:30 am at Blessed Francis Seelos Parish, 3053 Dauphine St, New Orleans, LA 70117 followed by a funeral mass at 1:30 PM.
