Elise M Canepa

Elise Rita Maloney Canepa passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 96 at Saint Anthony’s Garden in Covington, Louisiana.
Loving wife of the late Louis Francis Canepa, Mother of Diane Baricos, Elise Nunley and Pamela Callahan, sister of the late Walter Laroque, the late Camille Bethancourt and Rosemary Hoerner. She is survived by her three daughters and husbands, eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a long time parishioner, Eucharist minister and Sodality member at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She was also a member of the NAIM organization and Elmwood Fitness Center where she participated in the Senior Olympics. She loved traveling, dancing, people and life.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary at 3368 Esplanade Avenue on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm. The burial will follow the mass at St. Louis #3 Cemetery at 3421 Esplanade Avenue.
