Edmond Peter Jurisich

Edmond Peter “Foots” Jurisich, retired bartender, manager and truck driver, passed in his Marrero, LA home on March 10, 2022 at the age of 71. A New Orleans native, he graduated from Kennedy High School in 1968 and attended LSU thereafter. He is survived by niece Ashley Elizabeth Jurisich of Las Vegas, nephew Peter Christian Jurisich of Bastrop, TX, sister-in-law Laurie Anne Brignac of San Antonio, brother-in-law William Bishop of Eugene, OR, former spouse Kimberly Menzies of Fort Smith, AR and step-daughter Jennifer Rampolla of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by mother Marian Billings Jurisich, father Edmond Louis Jurisich, sister Janice Helen Jurisich and brother Jack Louis Jurisich.

Known for his good humor and jovial spirit, he will be missed by family and friends alike and also by friends and acquaintances from his times at Morning Call, Andy Capp’s in Mid-City, Ropers Bar in Las Vegas and Jefferson Sprinkler Company in Gretna.

A Graveside Service was held privately at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Animal Rescue New Orleans, Second Harvest Food Bank, or a charity of your choice preferred.
